63 Years Passed Since Nakba and Its Image Still in Minds of Palestinians
Sixty-three years of 'Nakba', catastrophe, and the image of this day is still in the minds of the Palestinian people who are suffering far from arbitrariness and injustice of the Israeli occupation.

The Palestinian people inside Palestine and in diasporas have been exposed to the extreme pressures to force them to renounce their legitimate rights to return, resistance and to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The beginning was with the Balfour's promise, which opened the door to Jewish immigration to Palestine and allowed Jewish gangs to usurp the Palestinian lands by force and commit 44 massacres against the Palestinian people leaving 2500 martyrs and dispersing Palestinians around the world.

The Nakba was represented by the success of the Zionist movement, backed by Britain, to control by force of weapons over the bigger part of Palestine and the declaration of the Zionist entity, where Britain and the United Nations plotted to present Palestine to a handful of Jews and put the plan for a sudden withdrawal on the pretext of ending the mandate.

Since the date of Nakba, the Palestinian land and people are the target of an organized colonial invasions with the aim of imposing a fait accompli on the ground, usurping the Palestinian lands from their legitimate owners to create a Jewish presence by force and to establish a Jewish military force and an economy that meets the Zionist aspirations.

Before 1948, Jewish settlers had begun a campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians and continued after the end of 1948 war and far.

Today, what Palestine is witnessing represents the continuation of the project of establishing a Jewish state on all Palestinian lands through the confiscation of lands, demolition of houses and repression of the Palestinians reaching to the entire blockade of the Gaza Strip. This proves that the Palestinian Nakba was not an incident that ended in 1948 but a catastrophe that is still present until today.
